From a childhood in Peru infused with art, culture and beauty, Carla Testino’s creative path has always been shaped by her roots and family heritage. Inspired by her mother’s sensitivity and guided by the visual universe of her brother, renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino, Carla developed an instinctive connection to aesthetics from an early age.
After a career with the U.S. Embassy and the World Bank, she returned to her passion: creating. In 2006, she launched her first fine jewelry atelier, collaborating closely with local Peruvian artisans and exporting pieces that celebrated craftsmanship and elegance.
Her journey evolved in 2015 with the launch of Sideral—a brand born from a deep dialogue with Amazonian and Andean communities, created for women who value ancestral knowledge and contemporary design. From prisons to rural communities, she has worked hand-in-hand with women in vulnerable conditions, believing in the power of education and empowerment to transform lives.
Today, Carla Testino Peruvian Handmade is the culmination of this vision: timeless accessories, shaped by nature, tradition, and architecture—crafted with purpose, and designed to inspire.
